Hallway Exhaust Fans

Framed Fan Working

Testing Hallway Fan Before
Installing Interior Louver

When air movement in non-climate controlled hallways and building interiors is limited and/or humidity enters through open stationary louvers, the solution is to install exhaust fans to alleviate extreme heat issues, improving air movement and eliminating moisture penetration.

Advantages of installing hallway exhaust fans:

  • This system utilizes a temperature activated, very compact through well fan and an automatic louver system.

  • When the fan stops, the louvers automatically close to prevent wind and water penetration into the building. Being a heat activated system, it only runs when the temperature rises above a pre-determined limit.

  • It is meant to replace standard louvers that allow 2-way air and rain transmittion.

  • Prevents rust damage to the immediate area next to the open louver, which affects walls, doors, plaster, wood, even the metal of the stationary louver itself.

  • Exhaust Fans are mounted on a sturdy frame with the automatic louvers placed on the inside and outside of the frame. The louvers are then painted to match the color of the existing louver being replaced, to maintain the look of the property.
