Hardipanel Vertical Siding

For applications that call for vertical siding, Hardipanel is equal to Hardiplank siding in value and long lasting performance. Because of its structural strength, Hardipanel may be used as a shear panel siding. All styles of Hardipanel are pre-primed with sealer and primer. This process ensures uniform coverage, which provides an excellent surface for paints and resists fungus and mildew.

New siding was installed in this old building, using Hardipanel Vertical Siding with a stucco finish. The photos above were taken before and after the installation. The photograph on the bottom left shows the actual installation being done.

All existing siding was removed and all damaged sub-siding was replaced, followed by the installation of Tyvek vapor barrier. The previously removed trim was reinstalled or replaced where necessary. The project was completed by painting with a 100% acrylic latex.
